Ramadan Kareem

🌙✨ Celebrating the Magic of Ramadan ✨🌙

Exploring the pages of “Ramadan Kareem” by M.O. Yuksel and Hatem Aly has been a journey for me and my students. 📚 This beautifully crafted book not captures the spirit of Ramadan but also highlights its splendor across cultures around the world.

💖 One of the aspects was observing my inquisitive students engage with the story, eager to learn about the significance of Ramadan and fasting in the Muslim community. Their genuine curiosity and thoughtful inquiries demonstrate their eagerness to discover and understand from any hint of arrogance or entitlement.

🌍 The book begins with the words “We come together to admire the new crescent moon. Ramadan Kareem! The sacred month of mercy has commenced,” setting the scene for a journey filled with love, connection and spirituality. Through eloquent storytelling the author skilfully intertwines perspectives, showcasing Ramadan as a time for family bonding and a deeper spiritual connection, beyond abstaining from food.

🎨 The vibrant illustrations beautifully capture the sights, sounds and fragrances of Ramadan inviting readers from all walks of life to immerse themselves in its magnificence. My second grade students astutely observed that “Ramadan Kareem” goes beyond boundaries spreading a message of empathy and understanding that resonates universally.

📖 Whether you’re curious, about Ramadan for the time or eager to delve into its significance this book is a must read. I recommend it wholeheartedly for readers of all ages. “Ramadan Kareem” isn’t a tale about a holiday—it’s a tribute, to humanity’s ability to show love and kindness.

Lets welcome diversity nurture understanding and come together to honor the essence of Ramadan! 🌟
